It was a beautiful and encouraging day for the City of North Miami Beach to start the year with such beautiful humanitarian work, especially in these difficult times of the pandemic, since 1,680 family food boxes weighing more than 40 pounds each consisting of milk, yogurt, chicken, hot dog, cheese, carrot, orange, onion, potatoes, etc and KN95 masks to all who attended.

The organizers were Helping Florida and Suárez Museum of Natural Science & History, the two non-profit organizations which all staff including Mayor Anthony DeFillipo and the Police were collaborating the entire time.

There were testimonies from the community where he said that they thanked the City of North Miami Beach and especially Mayor Anthony DeFillipo for all the work and effort they put into the city.

They were volunteers from organizations such as Florida National University, Coral Gables Merrick Lions Club, Ministerio Internacional La Cosecha and others.

It is planning to distribute food every week from Friday of next week from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The event was a great success and as the President of the Museum Luis Suarez said “THERE IS STRENGHT IN UNITY”.
