Professor Biswajit (Bob) Ganguly is an Inventor Scientist. He created the concept of ‘Environmental Peace’ with his colleague Professor Roger I.C Hansell at the University of Toronto.

As a Scientist and an Inventor, Professor Ganguly developed various applied technologies in the field of Environmental Pollution Control, to protect this Planet.

He visited and lectured widely around the world in many Universities including the University of Toronto, Canada, University of Guelph, Canada, University of Central Florida, USA, Columbia University, USA, Harvard University, USA, Stanford University, USA, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, New York, USA, University of Oxford, UK, University of Cambridge, UK, Imperial College (University of London), UK, Free University of Amsterdam, Netherland, University of Paris Sorbonne, France, Universite Libre de Bruxelles(ULB), Belgium, University of Heidelberg, Germany, University of Kiel, Germany, Max-Planck Institute, Germany, University of Melbourne, Australia, Moscow State University, Russia, Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Russia, Kyoto University, Japan, Etc. He is also a Research Professor at UNESP (Brazil).

Professor Ganguly is a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Fellow of the Royal Society of Health, Member of the Verein Deutscher Ingenieure(Association of German Engineers ), Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Senior Member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, etc.

He was inspired by Mother Teresa in Calcutta and Sir Joseph Rotblat in London as well as supported by many other international personalities including Nobel Laureates to promote the concept of ‘Environmental Peace’ around the World. Professor Ganguly is the Chancellor and CEO of ‘Noble International University’(NIU) USA, President and CEO of ‘Noble Institution for Environmental Peace’(NIEP) Canada as well as Chairman of ‘Planet for Environmental Peace’(PEP) Canada to carry out and support education and research in environment, sustainable development, and peace processes throughout the world.

‘Noble Institution for Environmental Peace’ (NIEP) has special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the United Nations and Professor Ganguly was invited as a Steering Committee member.

Professor Ganguly has extensive experience in organizing and directing public and professional meetings with the International Innovation Projects.
