Prof. Freire-Garabal receives the Lifetime Achievement Award during Sir Anthony Ritossa’s 15th Global Family Office Investment Summit under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
H.E. Prof. Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez HOKC, LLB, MBA, PhDH, FRAS, FRSA, FRAI, MRSAI holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from A Coruña University, he is graduated in Journalism from the National Journalists Association of Cuba in Exile and has an MBA in “International Construction Management” from the European University. He completed more than 300 courses and specializations in business, management, education, health, or security from IVY league universities and top-ranked European Business Schools. He received two Doctor Honoris Causa Degrees in the field of diplomacy.
Since his beginnings in the educational field, he works in Law and Education research. Currently, he is a professor and senior advisor at various universities in Asia-Pacific and North America. He lectured and participated in events at the Davos World Economic Forum and universities such as MIT, Harvard, Oxford, or New York University. He has published nine books and more than sixty professional and scientific articles.
He is an elected fellow and member of several British and Irish Royal societies, and Spanish and American academies. He has stood out at an early age for been invited to collaborate in media at Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, MSNBC, Microsoft, Le Figaro, or Le Monde. He is a regular contributor to The Economic Times and The Times of India.
He works in wealth management and educational development, serving as the Chairman of the Al-Khalifa Business School Educational Group and being part of the advisory board of multinational companies, UHNWI and Family Offices based in the United States, United Kingdom, India, Madagascar and the United Arab Emirates.
He officially works in the field of diplomacy. He holds various commitments such as Special Envoy of the Republic of Madagascar’s Presidency at the Emergence Pole of the General Direction of Presidential Projects, personal advisor of the former Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and former Prime Minister of Guinea (H.E. Lansana Kouyaté), or President of the Private Council of the Prince Mahmoud Salah Al-Din Assaf.
He works in philanthropy, giving free education and resources to the Middle East and Africa. He is highly recognized for his remarkable contributions by organizations such as the IDPs National Centres of Iraq, the Pan African Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, or the UNESCO member FUNVIC. Because of his social impact he was included in many global ranked lists and has been highlighted and interviewed in media like Forbes, Yahoo, Cosmo, CNBC, CBS, ABC, or Fox News. Additionally, he is a recognized Honorary Ambassador to many organizations with consultative status at the United Nations and he is an active member of Lions International Club.
He holds different legitimated knighthoods given by religions and representatives for service to the royal houses and States heads. He has received high civil honors from the Russian Federation, the Russian Orthodox Church, the States of Arkansas and Kentucky and the local governments of Machu Picchu, Medley and North Miami Beach.
